I know the DNS nameserver is intended to resolve a IP for a forward lookup zone host in th network. If I go logon to one of my PC's here at work and dns server configuration try to ping my domain name I will get the IP of dns manager my Domain Controller (I have two so configuration wizard the IP may be different depending on who I authenticated to ip when I logged on)
